Training > Facility information
American Eurocopter is located on the west side of the Grand Prairie Municipal Airport in the heart of the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex.
American Eurocopter is a secure facility, therefore, all employees and visitors must wear identification badges at all times. A temporary identification badge will be issued upon entrance to the facility. This badge will unlock the Training Center entrance during your visit. These badges are controlled and must be returned prior to departure.
For your convenience, the Training Center has a break room with complimentary coffee and vending machines with snacks and refreshments. There is no cafeteria on site, but there are many restaurants and fast food stores available within a few miles. Lunch breaks are typically scheduled from 11:45 to 13:00. Training sessions begin at 08:30 and end at 16:30.
Please dress in casual attire. Students attending the Maintenance Training courses should wear appropriate attire for hands-on workshop training. Dress code is business casual attire. For safety reasons, we ask that customers wear closed-toed shoes, as they will tour the facility and different workshops during the course program. For flight training it is recommended that customers bring a headset/ helmet, and if they prefer a flight suit, knee board, and gloves.
