For main and tall rotor blade repair requirements, the newly expanded blade shop with American Eurocopter provides a full spectrum of services.

Our comprehensive blade repair facility features a receiving inspection area, tear down area, paint shop, balance rooms and climate controlled clean room – which is set to manufacturers’ specification as to temperature and humidity.

American Eurocopter’s specialized Blade Technicians are certified, audited and dedicated to each job. To help ensure that we are able to keep customer blades in service as long as possible, we keep up with the latest technology by continually buying new tooling directly from Eurocopter. With assistance of the factory, American Eurocopter can also perform repairs beyond maintenance manual limitations.

Repair and overhaul of blades can be performed at our facility while an aircraft is in for routine maintenance – and for emergencies, we maintain a large rental and/or exchange pool of blades, available at a moment’s notice.

Our repair cycle program is so efficient that we guarantee zero turn around time for Astar, Twinstar and Dauphin main rotor blade repairs. American Eurocopter can do this because a special inventory of factory reconditioned and completely refinished blades has been set aside for this program, allowing us to offer an exchange blade – with comparable hours – at a special exchange repair price. These blades come complete with a 1,000 hour/24 month warranty.
