Overview
Welcome to the Quality section of the American Eurocopter web site.
The “I AM QUALITY” attitude permeates the American Eurocopter culture to deliver premium quality helicopters. The company’s Quality team members at its facilities in Mississippi, Texas, and California incorporate the “I AM QUALITY” attitude by continuously improving processes to ensure quality excellence from suppliers to our valued customers.
The following three topics provide focus on American Eurocopter’s approach to quality.
Certifications
Aerospace Standard (AS) 9100 B is the cornerstone of American Eurocopter’s Quality Management System. The company’s primary facilities in Grand Prairie, Texas and Columbus, Mississippi are certified by SAI Global to AS9100 standards.  American Eurocopter also is proud of its heritage and history with the FAA and EASA airworthiness authorities. With joint collaboration between industry and these authorities, American Eurocopter currently holds Production Certificates, Limited Repair Stations, and Part Manufacture Approvals at the company’s three facilities within the United States. A copy of this information is provided in the Certifications tab.
Supplier Quality
