2012 Vision Zero Aviation Award Winner: MedFlight of Ohio
MedFlight of Ohio was the recipient of the 2012 Vision Zero Aviation Safety Award, established by American Eurocopter to help promote a higher level of safety within the air medical industry. Selected from a record list of 25 nominees, MedFlight was recognized for its ongoing upgrades in technology, implementation of innovative programs, and the development of a strong culture of safety with employees and customers.
As the 2012 Vision Zero Aviation Safety Award winner, MedFlight received a $10,000 check from American Eurocopter, which will assist the helicopter operator in continuing to promote safety within the organization and with its customers. This check was presented during the Community Awards Banquet at the 2012 Air Medical Transport Conference in Seattle, Washington on October 23.
