American Eurocopter U.S. Coast Guard HH-65 Flight Hour Award
The American Eurocopter U.S. Coast Guard HH-65 Flight Hour Award has been developed to recognize all crew members’ flight experience in the HH-65. The award is based on hours flown in the HH-65 and qualifiying crew members receive an award pin, a patch and certificate for each level reached.
Eligible crew members include pilot, co-pilot, flight mechanic and rescue swimmer.
Award Criteria
- Award levels are based on number of hours flown in a Eurocopter HH-65 helicopter.
- Time in both current production and earlier Eurocopter models are valid.
- Pilots may combine times, if they have experience in flying more than one Eurocopter model.
- Hours should be cumulative, starting with the crew member’s first flight experience in a Eurocopter HH-65

Qualification
To receive this award, a letter or e-mail
should be submitted by the appropriate
official of the recipient’s Air Station.
This may be done at anytime throughout the year. Letters should include the following details:
- Award Recipient’s Name
- Current Position/Rank
- Current Air Station
- Award Level Earned
- How the Award Level was Attained
Please indicate if the award needs to be sent to a location other than that found on the letterhead, i.e. directly to the recipient’s address. Letter’s should be sent to:
